Dr. Porter is a board-certified pediatrician with over a decade of experience supporting new families. He earned his Bachelors of Science from the University of Iowa, then went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Rochester. After completing his pediatric residency at Northwestern University’s Lurie Children’s Hospital in Chicago, he practiced in private pediatrics in Chicago for five years before co-founding Modern Pediatrics in Austin, Texas in early 2020.
Dr. Tim is passionate about working with parents through the ups and downs of the parenting journey. He is particularly enthusiastic about education and teaches free virtual newborn-prep classes weekly. He thrives on being part of the early parenting adventure, helping families celebrate milestones, navigate challenges and feel confident every step of the way.
As Chief Medical Officer, he’s committed to family advocacy and making concierge pediatric care affordable and accessible to everyone.
