Prego Date night was a huge success! I believe that everyone who came and participated had a great night.
The night started off with checking in, where attendees filled out raffle tickets for a chance at winning amazing prizes that night. Some of the larger giveaways included the Stokke high chair, and the Newton crib mattress. Some great things about these great giveaways are that both prizes can grow with the child. The Stokke high chair is meant to grow with the child, from a high chair to a chair any adult can use. With the Newton crib mattress, babies can use it until they are toddlers. I personally felt the material that was inside the Newton crib mattress and I wish they made these for adults because I would be the first in line to purchase it!
After checking in, attendees had the chance to visit the Maison Baby pop up shop, which was incredible! They had such great products for all future moms & dads. My personal favorite was the teething necklaces for moms to wear for their babies. They were so cute and colorful.
In the same room, a bar was set up that served beer for the daddies and mock tails for the mommies. The mock tails were a personal creation made by Juliana and her husband.
Throughout the night, moms and dads were given the opportunity to have a mini photo shoot done by Playground Magazine and one lucky mom would be chosen from this night to be the cover model for an upcoming edition. Everyone had such a huge smile on their face and really enjoyed the attention from the camera.
When everyone was settled in, the event moved on to the dining area, which was beautifully decorated by Consider Anything Done, LLC. From what I noticed, everyone had such a great time meeting other mommies, partaking in dinner, listening to informative advice from the Florida Hospital and indulging in yummy cupcakes!
After dinner, it was giveaway time. There were tons of prizes to be raffled away. One of the most innovative products that was given away was the bounceRoo by 4moms. It is a baby seat that was super lightweight, easy to assemble, and had the coolest vibration settings. One of the settings had a heartbeat vibration, which would simulate being in the womb for the babies. Another amazing giveaway was the Ktan diaper bags. Diaper bags shouldn’t be ugly, and trust me these bags were gorgeous. I would even rock these bags as normal purses. They have two inner pockets lined with anti-microbial, water-resistant, odor-resistant, FDA food-grade lining to prevent germ growth and contain smell. About ten of these bags were given away, and they were a total hit, everyone loved them! Just when we thought there were no more giveaways, we were surprised with even more incredible prizes. One of these incredible prizes was a year supply of Pretty Mommies Skincare. The founder of Pretty Mommies Skincare is Gina Zeiger, who is from Orlando. When she was pregnant, she couldn’t find a skin care line that was safe for pregnant mommies and their babies. She made it her mission to create a safe skin line for these pregnant moms and she succeeded! Now her skin line is the #1 physician recommended maternity skin care line in the country.
This event was such a success and I hope that it becomes a tradition for The Prego Expo. Everyone left the event with swag bags in hand and smiles on their faces. Some of the highlights included in the swag bag were the Pink Blush leggings, Hanchell Babies Muslin Swaddle, and the Replay No Spill Sippy Cups. The Pink Blush leggings are fleece lined to keep mommies warm and have a mid belly elasticity band to keep mommies comfortable. The Hanchell blankets are so soft and made out of 100% Cotton Muslin, being a natural lightweight fiber which ensures their babies won’t overheat. The swaddle blanket has multiple uses and was designed by a mom so it includes everything that a mommy would want.
